2018 PCCE Convention (Red Deer)

In this, my first convention of the 2018/19 school year, I’ll be offering three sessions:
- “What Could Go Wrong? The Simple Question Your Students Can Build a Story Around”
- “How to Get Your Students Writing”
- “What’s Your Story?” (on what makes a great story, the significance of character arcs, and how this knowledge can help both children and adults navigate life’s highs and lows)
I’m excited to reconnect with former colleagues (and meet some new folks!) right at home here in Red Deer!
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
