Author Visit: Grade 7, St. Francis of Assisi School (Red Deer)

On Tuesday, April 24th from 8:55-3:30, I will be joining the grade 7s for their Literacy Day. Over 200 students will rotate through 10 different reading and/or writing workshops led by experts. This exciting event will be a great way to promote literacy and help students develop skills in that crucial area. I’m excited to be a part of it!
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
