Author Visit: Grades 4 & 5, École Barrie Wilson School (Red Deer)

On Tuesday, May 1, I’ll be stopping by École Barrie Wilson School for an author visit (times listed below). I’ll read a little bit of Space Cadets to the students, as well as answering their questions about the life of an author. Afterwards, students will have an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Space Cadets. Reading, writing and hanging out with kids are three of my favourite things, so I’m super excited!
grade 5 (English): 10:10-10:40

I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
