Author Visit: Grades 4-6, Mayland Heights School (Calgary)

On Thursday, May 17 from 10:40 – 12:30, I’ll be stopping by Mayland Heights School for an author visit. I’ll read a little bit of Space Cadets to the students, as well as answering their questions about the life of an author. Reading, writing and hanging out with kids are three of my favourite things, so I’m super excited!
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
