Author Visit: Grades 4-6, Millarville Community School

On Monday, February 26, during “Freedom to Read Week”, I’ll be stopping by Millarville Community School for an author visit. At that time, I’ll read the first chapter of Space Cadets to the students in grades 4 through 6, as well as answering their questions about the life of an author. I’m looking forward to visiting the hamlet and getting a chance to meet everyone in a school I’ve heard so much about!
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
