Author Visit: Grades 4-7, St. Patrick’s Community School (Red Deer)

On Thursday, May 3 (see below for times), I’ll be stopping by St. Patrick’s Community School for an author visit. At that time, I’ll read the first chapter of Space Cadets to the students in grades 4 through 7, as well as answering their questions about writing and the life of an author. Afterwards, students will have an opportunity to purchase a signed copy of Space Cadets. Reading, writing and hanging out with kids are three of my favourite things, so I’m excited for this event!

I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
