Author Visit: Mrs. Ennis’ 6th Grade ELA, Ozark Middle School (Ozark, Missouri)

Mrs. Ennis was the winner of my Space Cadets giveaway, in which she won a signed copy of Space Cadets, along with a free author visit. As a result, I will be visiting her three English Language Arts classes (via video). I’m always pumped to get a chance to connect with students about writing, but this international visit is especially exciting due to the distance (2858 km) between us. Books bring people together (in this case, with a little help from technology)!
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
