Author Visit: Prairie Waters Elementary School (Chestermere, AB)

I’ll be celebrating World Read Aloud Day with the grade 4’s at PWE with an author visit via Skype. At that time, I’ll read the first chapter of Space Cadets to the students, as well as answering their questions about the life of an author. I’m excited to meet the students I’ve heard so much about from my niece, Miss Lederer, who happens to teach one of the grade 4 classes.
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
