Calgary City Teachers Convention 2018

In February and March, I’ll be reconnecting with my education roots, travelling around Alberta presenting two sessions to teachers: How to Get Your Students Writing and What’s Your Story? It allows me to talk about things I love—kids, writing, and learning—with people I love (teachers)!
In Calgary, I’ll be presenting two sessions: “How to Get Your Students Writing” (9-10 am), and “What’s Your Story?” (10:45 – 11:45), both at St. Mary’s High School, Room B206. Signed copies of Space Cadets will be available at the convention bookstore for $12.
I was a teacher for 31 years in Red Deer, Alberta (Canada). I had boatloads of fun with my students, but three decades is a long time, so I decided to retire to something a little quieter.
Space Cadets is my first book, but I have a bunch of ideas bouncing around in my head, so more are sure to follow!
